The food is affordable, especially in this economy. Not just affordable, but really good, fresh, and hot. Staff was super cool too

My first time here today. The establishment was clean and spacious. The owner welcomed us with a warm greeting and great smile. The drinks was right and the food was wonderful. Our table ordered the lemon pepper wings with fries, shrimp with salad and the tripe bites. EVERYTHING was great will be going back... Illinois resident

Me and my date had a great experience at So Deity diner!! My favs are the Salmon bites, pancakes and the so Deity Potatoes!! They are the BOMB!!!! Oh and the coffee stays hot and fresh! But we keep coming back so we tried almost everything and have zero complaints!
Went there with friends on a Sat night about 8pm. It was 5 adults. The bartender preferred we order at our table but table service was VERY slow. It took about 15mins to get a drink each time we ordered. Don't go if you are in a rush. They brought out drinks and sang for the birthday parties which was super cute. Security frisks you at the door and no smoking inside but they do have outdoor seating. We took some wings to go and they were delicious. Amaretto sours are amazing here.Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5
Visiting from Seattle, WA all of my family said if I wanted great tripe this is the spot and OH MY GOD!! Those tripe bites were spectacular! Perfectly spiced, dipped and fried. My only issues was there was not enough. Service, decorum, and prices were all top tier. Next time I’m in the LOU, this will be my first stop!
I went with my boyfriend last night, and this was my first time here. I loved the atmosphere, and Ms. Robin was so welcoming. The staff in general was just great. Drinks 10/10. 😭 Food: 100/10. Loved the music, and the basketball game was playing. Everything was so fresh and so good, and it didn’t take long at all. I had got the lemon pepper fish strips, and my boyfriend got chicken strips.We will be back for sure!!
